Google Analytics & Conversion Tracking
Connect Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads to your CareLaunch organization to track patient registration activity and measure marketing conversions.
Tracking snippets are injected on your public landing page and patient-facing registration pages only. Tracking is automatically disabled on authenticated portal routes, and the events CareLaunch fires (page views and a registration conversion) contain no patient health information.
Where to Configure
- Log in as an organization administrator.
- Go to Settings → Organization.
- Scroll to the Analytics & Conversion Tracking card.
- Enter the IDs for the products you use (all fields are optional).
- Click Save.
Available Fields
Google Analytics Measurement ID
Your GA4 Measurement ID, e.g. G-XXXXXXXXXX. Enables Google Analytics tracking on patient registration pages.
You can find this in Google Analytics under Admin → Data Streams → your web stream.
Google Tag Manager Container ID
Your GTM Container ID, e.g. GTM-XXXXXXX. Enables Tag Manager on the public landing page, letting your marketing team manage additional tags without code changes.
You can find this in Google Tag Manager at the top of your container workspace.
Google Ads Conversion ID
Your Google Ads Conversion ID, e.g. AW-XXXXXXXXX. Enables Google Ads conversion tracking.
Google Ads Conversion Label
The conversion label from your Google Ads conversion action, e.g. AbC-D1efGhIjKlmNO. When set together with the Conversion ID, a conversion event fires when a patient completes registration.
You can find both values in Google Ads under Goals → Conversions → your conversion action → Tag setup.
Notes
- Each field validates its format on save (for example, the GA4 field must start with
G-). - Changes take effect on the public pages shortly after saving — no deployment is required.
- Tracking applies organization-wide across your landing page and registration flows.
